Depending on necessity, [technical processes](/content/en/learn/preproduction/rehearsal/technical-rehearsals/index.html) or [artistic processes](/content/en/learn/preproduction/rehearsal/actor-rehearsals/index.html) can also be rehearsed. Even if a rehearsal only involves the preparation of a preliminary stage or a subsection of a production, it will always ultimately function as a means to support the optimal interpretation of the script from a directorial point of view.
